Album – making the album and when to have it ready
You must not make the mistake of not having your debut album ready
before the campaign of your first song. Should the first song
you campaign take off exceeding your expectations you will be
very busy in the promotion of the campaign doing press interviews,
attending photo sessions, performing at shows and in and out of
endless radio stations across the country. You will have very
little real time to creatively assemble an album. Should the aforementioned
happen there could be strong industry and consumer demand for
your album and you should be in a position to feed the appetite
of this insatiable but fickle market.
You must give the market what it wants, when it wants it and
you will do very well with album sales. You must meet the market
demand for your offering at its peak and without a crystal ball
you have no idea when this is likely to be.
